"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 |

That was my exact prayer today because the desires of my heart were for the Lord to touch this little boys life in ways that he couldn't comprehend.
I had just come from the internet and decided to chat with Sarah outside our room when the head monk asked us if we would like to join him for a ritual. We were a little perplexed but gladly agreed.
Right outside the room which I am staying in, we began by playing a little game of charades with the head monk because we did not know what he wanted us to do. I finally figured out that he wanted us to give our cameras to the other monk so that he could take pictures of this little boy and us. We then positioned ourselves lower than the monk; out of respect; and prepared for intense prayer.

The little boy that you see here is an orphan that the monk took in and was teaching to be a monk. I have a little difference of opinion on this because this Monk is a man of peace; as stated in Luke 10; but he is taking this little boy and forcing him into his religion without a choice. |

We sat there in complete peace and showered this beautiful little boy with every prayer that we could. Although I could not hear Sarah praying out loud, I felt what she was praying in spirit. My heart tore for this child and all I could do was pray for the Grace of God to touch his life. I know that our prayers were heard because this whole experience was a gift from God. What were two followers of Jesus (the monk knows this) doing at this ceremony especially since no monk can even come close to a female and this building explicitly says no females (they are letting Sarah and Tauna live here) Hmmm, God. |

God broke our hearts for this boy and I know that He is going to look after him. I pray that more Christians come into his life. |

A sis in Christ.
wow, that sounds awesome. It is so hard to trust the Lord with prayers that we have no idea where they go or if they take effect.
It was really cool to talk with you at the Biola missions tent today. Your thoughts were encouraging and challenging and I was so blessed to talk with you and Eric. I am excited to see what the Lord has in store, but even being with you guys today was a huge blessing to me. Good luck with your presentations tomorrow...I'll probably see you there:)
